Sony has always been a quality standard for me, but something that really has gone in recent years AMIS. The TV only lacked the level of intense color crisp black and white that make a striking image. Other than that, this model from Samsung was a reduction in the size of the screen, but a great increase in quality. The image is amazing. Although there are some problems with the extremely fast motion, the creation of "artifacts" , the picture quality is excellent. The LED backlight is new in my house, so we were not sure what to expect. blacks are dark, and eyes can shine, if in turn ensures maximum brightness. Compared with the Sony, the channel switching is super fast and the remote feels light and has a more intuitive design. The interesting thing for me is that Samsung produces the image is much smoother than anything I've seen on TV Whatever their differences provides video processing, I like it. It may sound strange, but if you look at Samsung, against almost every other manufacturer, you will be able to remember more of what you saw in the pictures. Perhaps the image is easier on your eyes, but ultimately "works." Do not expect everything to be perfect yourself. In the scenes extremely rapidly, l '"artifact" problems obvious. There is also a problem of uniformity of the screen on my unit where the lower right and left tend to bloom with light when the screen is deep black and the LED backlight is turned on. Cheap samsung Went by Rob First, let me begin by saying I was seduced by the reputation of Samsung last year. She has some really great TV and I caught in hype. The number one most grid failure this TV is caused by what is called the "panel lottery". Basically not Samsung produces all the panels that it uses this model, instead of outsourcing to different manufacturers. I ended with a panel that CN02 is a Chinese manufacturer and is regarded as the soil can agree. What I did learn that lottery was searching the web as to why my TV it looked so terrible compared to the stores. What really destroyed this TV was terrible for me, (and I mean horrible) backlight bleed / flash lighting. Uniformity of CN02 panel is the worst I've ever seen on an LCD computer monitors, I also have a clear X-patterns from all angles, including circles, ranging in diameter from a baseball to a marble here and there in the picture was. Instead of playing the lottery again, because you can not specify which panel you want inside the TV, I suggest a replacement from Amazon, which was great and bought an LG model instead, which costs the same, something larger and has many more features. The best, LG IPS panel models seem a uniform instead of that terrible CN panels from Samsung is trying to get away with. I'm not saying that this set will be terrible for everyone. Maybe I just terribly unlucky with a bad panel, but of the many online discussions about the quality of Samsung and implementation of the control panel lottery, I'd rather not take the risk on another. This is a great high-definition TV (my third), particularly where space is a limitation. The picture quality is excellent.
